Well after searching and finally getting the parts to the shop and having everything worked on, the car is now fixed. Turns out the heat from the headers caused the master and slave cylinders to break down. To counter this, the shop wrapped the left header near the cylinders (not the whole header, just part of it). I know wrapping headers isn't adviseable, but I'd rather have to replace them much farther down the road as opposed to buying new master and slave cylinders every couple years. The car runs great now and everything was going alright on the way home when all of a sudden the engine starts to die. At that point I remembered that the cylinders crapped out on me on the way to the gas station. Luckily, we had some gas at home and it was easy enough to take care of. That's good enough excitement for me for the whole summer. At least the car is fixed now.
