Joe,

Nice catch. I saw that bad boy come on a couple of nights ago. I just wish the guy would post more pictures or at least a few good ones. I see that car in that example ad in the Mustang trader every month. Boy that middle eastern origianl owner sure dumped a lot of dough in that S281.

I didn't know it was originally a s281, i thought it was an s351.

Funny thing is that these days, you can build a 1000+hp 351 for under 30,000.

Wonder how much he really wants for the car.

I would be suspicious with him accepting a wire transfer only as payment. I paid less than what he is starting the bid at for my car and it made 1200 rwhp at the time.

Ya, i agree, no way in hell i'd just wire some guy thousands of dollars.
It's more than likely payed off, and if it's not, a guy with a car like that should have the cash or credit available to get the title from the bank.

I think I may have the MM&FF cover story article on this Saleen.

If I remember correctly it was published about 10 years ago?

I don't think it is a REAL S-351 though. I think it started life as a S281 and with time and money it was built to resemble a S-351.

Correct.

It started life as an S281. He did a good job spending money on S351 bits but old guys lke myself know better.

Check the third paragraph about halfway in.

Nah, It started out as an S281. Looks good in person though. Saw it in Washington State about 7 years ago.
