It should be a fun car in about a year when it get's done. The car im basing mine off of made 1700rwhp, but they were pushing some rediculous boost to it. Im going to push around 35psi to mine. I MIGHT mini tub it...and that's a big MIGHT. there is no way i will put full tubs in it or make it a back half car. I mean come on...i still plan on driving this car around on the streets on C16 race fuel.

OK. now the real question is do you actually have the cash to make this happen? I doubt it will be streetable.

Im not tryin to brag by no means but i bring home about $1500 a week so i make enough. Plus im only 20 years old, live at home, my DD is paid off and so is this car. So i have no bills. I promise you it will be steetable, i will NEVER own anything that wont be able to be drove on the street.

Back down on the turbo set up, the 9" and the trans then you will have a much better mannered car. A two speed? Comeon! At least get a Turbo 400
Thats a killer track combo but for the street it will be hairy and just not fun IMHO

It will be bad to the bone. It will make children cry. It will make women scream in terror. It will make every car guy go "Daaayummmmm". It will make Terminator owners shake. It will make Camaro owners get a haircut.

If you can do it then great. I am not trying to be a d*** here but 35psi? your shooting for over 1000hp. And with the other mods it wont be street friendly. Ontop of all that even with no bills it is still going to take a very long time and a but load of cash to put this car together. Again not trying to be a d*** but I do think you should be more realistic about your goals with the car thats all.

A 900 - 1000 hp car is still somewhat streetable. If you're building this car based ona 1700 hp car I seriously doubt it will be streetable.

Thats a huge list and project as well. Good luck with it and are you having a shop put this together or doing it yourself? Not to be nosy but how confident are you that you'll have that great paying job for a long time in this economy?

That will be a fast car but I hope your dd is reliable I just don't think your going to drive it around the streets everywhere, loses the "fun factor" on the streets and tickets waiting to happen

a powerglide is the most streetable transmission there is!!!

i hope you know that parts list is well in excess of $50K. sorry but i'm gonna call BS on this simply b/c you will never have the time/money to make this happen. and what you have described is an all out race car deff not a street car

But a 2 speed is not prctical either. I too see this taking entirely too much time/money to happen.

nothing says street car like a chute on the back!!!

even if you had the cash today there is no way you could build all that within a years time.

my VERY mild build (in comparison to yours) took 3 years and over $15K
