The first mod anyone should do on a clean Mustang is a car alarm ... hands down.

Edit: Stealing should be punishable by death

the best free mods that you should do. remove air silencer out of the fender and play with the timing. but when you start spending money get an exhaust first.

G@D D@M!TT I hate it when you loose a car... Not to pour salt into your wound, but why wasn't the engine / fuel disabled so the $h!t head couldn't start your car up..? Or did they tow it away?

Sorry for your loss! I know the feeling, I have lost 2 so far.

I dont really think car alarms are all that useful, most people just get annoyed when they hear that sound bc they assume the owner set it off. How many times have you seen a soccer mom in a huge SUV that can't work the alarm? Most people dont even try and find out where the sound is coming from.

car alarm is good, but also wire up some secret switches for fuel and starter kill. All of my neighbors always look when someone starts my car, it vibrates their windows, but I don't know if they could catch the theif in a crown vic. At least the car being conspicious will help them find it.

**** the car alarm.

As others have said...if you're really worried about someone stealing your car, make it inoperable. Yank the distributor-coil wire.

You could always install a "THIS CAR PROTECTED BY SMITH&WESSON" sticker as well.

Yes, an '89 5.0/5spd/25th ani/ white (black molding) notch with 7,200 actual bone stock miles

I just got the car a couple of weeks ago and this is only the second and last night I was going to park the car outside ... it was there at 2am this morning and gone by 6am .. had my bedroom window open and slept through it starting up

It's 11am right now and I've already written the car off ... MF MF MF MF MF MF MF MF thiefs ... 13g's gone ... I've been so busy with work that I haven't had a chance to put full coverage on it.

But you see, the problem is not that my car is stolen .. it is that I live in Washington state and this state is run by Democrats (liberals) . They are soooooo soft (stupid) on crime that the problem will continue ... then they appoint liberal judges that smack the thiefs wrist and say naughty, naughty .... Example: In King County a "mf" has to be caught behind the wheel 5 times (did you hear me .. 5X) before the consequence is slightly harse .... these are laws these state democrats have made ... does this make sense

I don't expect to get the car back ... I just want the individuals involved ... I don't care who you vote for, but do not vote for Democrats ... they will 'f' your state up. As far as I'm concerned liberal thought and action owes me $13K

Want to eliminate theft ... 20 years for 1st offense ... 2nd offense gone for life ... now how bad do you want the car

works for me every time. Sorry to hear about the car , it would be nice to see the authorities chop off the hands of these POS people as they do in third world countries.

If I ever see the car again it will be worthless ...

It's okay, I've got the whole eternal afterlife for repayment.

The only good thing is I almost spent a fortune buying a bunch of top dollar chassis parts for it last night and decided to hold off until this weekend when I could finalize my research.

You could always do what Mel Gibson did in the movie Mad Max. Wire your car with some explosives set to go off if someone f##ks with it and only you know where the cut off switch is. I really wish someone would make a car alarm that shocks people if they touch the door handles....sorry dude

Man, that is a true loss to the Mustang family. I am sorry to say that if you get your car back, it will never be the same.

Sorry for your loss man, I know I would be going through hell with that nice a car. Mine is pretty nice but most likely not near 7k mile nice. Where in Washington State are you located at? I live in the Tumwater/Olympia area and if its anywhere near you I will keep my eye out for it. Do you remember like the first 3 or last 3 digits of the license plate at all? Just a few things that might help me out if I see one anytime soon. Once again sorry man, that is just plain bs that people are like that. Later
