The mystery of the RATTLE/SQUEAK!

Ever since I got my Mustang I have been troubled by squeaks, rattles, annoying sounds. It is usually the worst when someone else is with me in my car of course

Anyway, I was always convinced that it was the dash. It totally sounded LIKE IT WAS COMING FROM THE DASH! Many times I POUNDED that dash to attempt to silence it...

HOWEVER, I have now discovered that it is a plastic trim piece on the underside of the top of the window frame. The piece that the sunvisors fold up against when they are in the up position.

So, if you have a 99+ vert and you have the same problem, try putting your hand on that stupid plastic trim piece and see if the sound goes away.

Now I just need to pull off that trim piece and fix it.

2 main places for squeaks and rattles, the center A/C vents and also some where under the deforoster vent on the dash, and then the headliner towards the rear. I cant solve the headliner, but I made Ford fic the A/C one, though they wont fix my TSB3650

Rattles I only hear from the firewall and very rarely. I havent heard it enough to fix it.

I have rattle problems with air vent (going to get it fixed eventually) and headliner (fixed). But whats really killing me is rattling caused by the bass of songs. I think there is something severely wrong with my passenger door, it sounds like its rattling apart.
