I originally made it for wolfgang for his pony site a year ago!

I've since then changed the wheels and the background, changed the grill to silver and gave it a solid roof, still the same car!!!

Here is another one:
<img src="http://i21.ebayimg.com/01/i/00/fd/6b/58_1.JPG">
<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10076&item=2446219048">http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10076&item=2446219048</a>

That seller's name is "CopyShopExpress". He sure knows how to copy other people's work.

Damn ebay!!! I tried contacting them and the last step comes up an error page before I can write them an e-mail. I have dated material, CD's, an original website and owner contacts from when it was published on the web, message boards where it was posted with dates and times. I created those a friggin year ago. I'm surprised they didn't grab each model I created. As a professional artist, I'm insulted. I get paid for this, they never contacted me, asked for permission to use this image, offered any kind of a payment for it's use. I don't care if other people share my images on the web cause they think it looks cool or something, but this guy is making a profit off off a labor of love of mine to see what the new mustang could look like in various famous versions. He didn't create the art work. I don't think this is a hoax, it links to all other ebay pages... I would love to contact them about fraud and copyright issues with my work. If it's a joke, they got me. Thry got me good. My brother mentioned something about this a little while back but then couldn't find it again.

I bet they didn't get licensing from ford either, bet they (ford) would know how to nail someone ripping them off with logo infringements. The auto companies have become very strict about that.

Well, the good news is that my searches on eBay didn’t bring up any completed auctions for them so no one has bought any of them yet. (that I could find) The bad news is that I can’t see anyway these can be a joke. The seller has a feedback rating of 440 and the auction has a “buy it now” which would let anyone get it at any time. There is nothing stopping me or anyone else from purchasing it right now. If I was you the first think I would do is contact the seller(s) and explain to them that is your artwork, you have a legal claim to it, and would appreciate it if they would stop selling those. Be nice but let them know you are unhappy. I would even agree to let these auctions slide if they agree not to have anymore. If they don’t agree then I would go after them through eBay or even contact Ford and see if you can get them to go after them, since they are using their product and logo and I am sure they are not cutting Ford in on their action. Then again, If those clocks sell well then you should look into selling them yourself. They don’t look like they are too hard to build. You could even let the buyer choose which picture he/she wanted and have exclusive rights to anything new you produce :^)

I'd contact them directly, but ebay asks you to log in to access their clients e-mails and I'm not a member. What worries me is there are 8 other versions of stangs from that german site he ripped off with my pics there. That site has my permission. I spoke to wolfgang several times, he even requested some versions. I think the sellers think cause they grabbed off a foreign site, it wouldn't get back to the originators. Hello, I am the originator and I'm right here in the godd old US of A where there are strict copyright laws. Don't even need the little c anymore just dated material to show you had earlier ownership. Hell, I have the original files in all the various stage on CD and it is even dated when it was burned. I'd like to be civil about it. Just need to contact these guys and see if they are cool or jerks about it. God forbid they find my own site where I have a few dozen different version of the car.

Below is their contact information regarding shipping and returns, there is a phone number and email address.

MAIL ALL PAYMENTS TO: COPY SHOP EXPRESS 155 WEST TIVERTON WAY SUITE 1B LEXINGTON, KY 40503 (859) 245-9130 PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR AUCTIO ITEM# WITH YOUR PAYMENT! PAYPAL PAYMENTS TO: [email protected]

I thought those looked too similar to yours. The seller contacted you. Good he needs to at least get permission. Although I think I'd work out a comission deal. That way you might get a little money for you next stang.

Geez the guy has 299 auctions going right now and it appears they are ALL clocks. Gotta wonder who elses artwork he is "borrowing", not to mention the fact he is using manufacturer logos which most of them pretty much frown on.

Yeah, the dude is a copy right infringement suite waiting to happen. While the idea of making some $$$ through him sounds good you might want to check in to how much liability you would have if Ford or some other company decided to take him out.

Call off the hounds! The guy selling the clocks e-mailed me and we talked about hammering out a deal for my art work!

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing, if he buys art from me and ford sues him.... :(

why are their lights in the grill of the new mustang (2005)

Perhaps to answer your question a bit more properly. The whole car is supposed to be retro. Several classics had the same set of lights in the grill. So in keeping with the whole retro theme, they put lights in the grill.

Thats good. I was gonna say, that is pretty bogus. Now, you cant sell the pictures with the running pony. At that point in time you would be making money of someone elses copyright. Your right, if they sue that guy, they will prolly sue you for selling it to him.....I would just say no and dont sell the clocks. Ford seems pretty anal about controlling the publicity for the new Stang. Remember that little fiasco with the spy shots...and Brad wasnt even making money....
