Since I starting trolling a couple years ago I've seen one Lincoln on here other than mine, and that's duner's sweet all black Mark VIII. So, just out of curiousity, who else drives the more luxurious Stangs?

Damn it's been a long time since I've seen you on here. How's it going?

Tyler has a 2001 Lincoln LS. Haven't seen anyone one else with a Mark.

Mine recently rolled over 100k. Still driving it back and forth to work. I had to have the tranny rebuilt about 6 months ago. That sucked.

Going good. Got some TwistedWedge heads for the '87, rebuilt the supercharger, and got all the little pieces together, so it should be running this summer. The Mark VIII has had its problems, EGR tube mainly. That's a bitch to get to. It's got 128k on it, so it's expected. However, I picked up an '89 LSC from an old friend of my dad's that only has 17k miles on it. Brand new practically. Glad to see you've still got the VIII. Have you ever ran it at the track? What year was it anyway?

It's a '95. I took it to the track a few times. I don't remember the times. After I picked up my Cobra the Lincoln didn't make it back to the track. I had Jeff put some 4.10s and a trak-loc in the Mark. Huge difference. Maybe I'll take it to PIR on of these days. Of course I won't tell anyone I'm going.

I didn't learn about the problems with the tube until after I got the tranny rebuilt in mine, of course. I've been pondering gears for my VIII for a while now. Did you put a chip in it? Cause I thought they weren't supposed to shift right without some sort of modification to the shift points either in the comp or in the valve body.

It has a chip but I don't use it. It runs and shifts just fine. The programming needs to be tweaked. There are a few things that I don't like. The chip is from a shop in Florida and the guy is a douche. I bought he chip before I did the gears. Could have saved myself $350.

I'm very close to selling it. I need a truck. Just looked at a F150. I have X-plan. They have a $3500 rebate right now. Invoice minus $3500 doesnt sound too bad.

Is it that Dennis Reinhardt guy? I heard he's rather short over the phone. I'll have to go ahead and get the gears for mine, it sucks having absolutely no bottom end, especially after all the 5.0s I've had. How much would you want to get for the VIII?

Thanks for the compliment, codemonkey, I try to keep it clean.

Nice LS, Tyler. Does it have exhaust on it?

It has full cat back and a KKM intake.

I am ordering SCT excalibrator and then leaving it alone after that until someone finally produces a good supercharger for it and a locking rear end.

The only other thing I am doing to it is the eibach lowering springs to get it down another inch and take away the gap in the wheel well.

Yea he's not helpful at all and he can kiss my ass. Worst customer service ever.

The gears are a must. Huge difference. Although the 2300 rpm at 60mph is a little much for commuting.

I sent you a PM. Mmmmmmm you need duner's HIDs............

Sounds like a pretty fun car. Is there currently a supercharger in development? I thought that I heard there was.

My mom's boyfriend had an '01 LS8 for a while before trading it in on a CTS-V. After driving both of the cars, I must say the LS definately had a funner personality. The Caddy is quite the car, though - hard to beat 400HP and a six-speed.
