Thanks Nate. I ended up driving it home. Front calipers are locked up...finally got a bad set from the yard. Gonna replace them with a new set from the auto parts store. Glad I spent 4 hours sanding and painting the junk ones. Can't complain too much, first set of bad ones I've EVER seen come outta my yard.

The exhaust I used was from a rolled over 2002 GT. It is coated in oil inside and I didn't even think what this would do. The exhaust stinks like hell and smokes like crazy. It's getting better but it's still wayyyy too loud. Never heard a street car this loud. It's not even a good loud. I'm gonna drive it and get the oil outta there and sell this exhaust and go Flowmaster.

Still needs an interior. I'm debating this:

1.) Paint all the grey stuff black and use black door panels with the 2001 GT seats front and back.

2.) Use all the grey stuff as it is with the grey fox GT seats front and back.

#1 is the way I wanna do it but switching over the 2001 back seats to accept the fox body latches is gonna be a lot of work. I've seen write-ups on it but nobody has any good pics on the conversion.

#2 would be much faster because I wouldn't have to paint a single thing. Although I would have to chisel out the 94-04 rear seat brace that I welded in the car.

Anybody have good pics on SN95 to fox rear seat converion?

Did you sand the texture out of the calipers to make them super smooth? Not sure i've seen that done outside of the aftermarket powder coated calipers.

Yeah I hit them with some 80 and some 150 and painted them. I didn't go crazy with like 320 or 400/600 cause you're not close enough to see the scratch marks anyways.

Gonna get some pics soon. Got ambitious last night and painted my passenger air bag, the steering column covers, installed them. Got the door speakers and rear speakers working. Found out I have one bad amplifier in the rear, that's why the Mach460 doesn't sound so great. I also took the old visors and headliner out, removed all the old dome light wiring, ran the 97 domelight wiring. Vacuumed out the carpet so it's ready to fit the console and seat belt buckles tonight. Hoping to get the radio/cd player, HVAC and bezel in tonight as well.

Next up is mounting the rear amps, and changing over the 99-04 leather seat backs over to take the fox body latching system. Gotta hook up the 3rd brake light, door panels ect......hopefully I can enjoy this car for a month before it gets cold outside. I just lost interest in March/April after I painted it. At least I'll have the entire 2011 spring and summer to enjoy it........unless I get lucky and sell it over winter like I did Hack Job. I wanna remodel my kitchen now. lol

Hey, if you need some insight on the easiest way to do the rear seat swap let me know. My buddy helped me with mine and it was so simple. iwashmycars way was way more complicated than it had to be!

Thanks...what do you suggest? I was gonna take all four seats, put them on my patio table then start taking the fox latches out. Then I was gonna cut the Sn95 seats in the similar area with my 3" cut-off wheel. Fit them in, install the latches/brackets on the bottom and see how to fit them into the car? Think that's a good path to take?

Did you have to take them in and outta the car a bunch? And did you bolt that folding section down in the car (the peice with the long fragile hinge on it).

Lemme know. I wanna tackle that this weekend. Tonight I'm gonna finish the dash off, rewire a couple things on my doors, install the headliners and paint some A-pillar trims I got from an 85. Those work perfect with the 94+ dash.

HAHA....I would but there is really nothing to take pictures of. It's all still a disaster inside the car and now my garage at home....unfortunatley I had to get it outta the shop.

But okay okay...I'll take some pics. lol

Before a wash job...my shops surround by dirt and dust and mud.

Here's one from July 4th weekend. That's when I brought it home. It cleaned up decent. lol

Looks done, but it still needs the Cobra grill (which is painted and ready) 85% of the interior installed, and I actually got a pair of bad front calipers, so I need to switch those out, unfortunately. But I can't complain because of the 3 cars I've built with PBR's and the many I've sold to customers, I have not got a frozen pair yet....til now...lol

Smoothed over Cobra grill??? If so, yes, that would be badass. I just didn't wanna take the time cause I thought I'd get it done by spring so I didn't wanna spend time doing crazy stuff, but hell it's half way through August now and it still isn't completed.

Smoothed over emblem like on a gt Bumper, not sure how it would be done on a cobra insert though

That looks pretty darn slick! I like it. Good idea for a future project...but I don't really wanna build another. I might fix another fox, but I am not gonna "build" another or "restore" another like I have done to the last 3.

Crane....got some pics up.

Okay...last night was a long night. I planned on doing a lot of stuff but had a problem....don't wanna get into it, but the dash had to come BACK OUT!!! So, after pulling it, it ended up being like midnight. But I didn't wanna pick up tonight reinstalling the dash. So I stayed out til after 1am putting it back in. After fixing what I had to fix I ended up installing the air bag and the radio/cd/HVAC controls. So basically after a 5 hour fe-ASSSSSCO.....that's really all that I got done to be ahead of where I was when I started. Tonight...it's on and poppin!!!!!!!

The bag is dark because it's painted black. All I had was a tan one, but it was free. Once the dash gets some armoral, it'll be all set. There is dirt smeared all around in the texture from sitting around.

Oh man...it's gonna be another long night getting all this mess to fit nicely under the fox interior. But that's alright. I got another LO-CARB Monster Energy waiting for me in the fridge. That's what kept me up last night.
