Pittsburgh did not throw the ball hardly at all in the second half. Did not try to convert any fourth downs, and the defense didn't let Baltimore back in it

sure the 4th down thing looks bad but kicking a sure field goal from the 10 yard line is just as insulting.. atleast with a 4th down run play like the eckel and cassel plays the other team had a good chance to stop any scoring with a stop against a 2nd string qb and a 4th string RB. Now about the passing... this is a pass first offense they are not a great running team so they don't want to go three and out for the whole forth quarter and give the other team a bunch of chances to come back.

Ne and pittsburg have two totally difference offenses.. the steelers don't throw the ball nearly as much as NE even in a close game.. and I don't think the defense let the redskins back in the game... In the dolphins game the backup qb's started turning the ball over and that lead to a few quick dolphins scores they had to put brady back in because those two clowns could not even run ball control offense that week...

BTW I think all this run up the score crap is silly.. you play the game until the other team can't win.. We have all seen miracle come backs before when a team let up on the gas pedal to early. Plus in the pats case they are playing with a chip on their shoulder right now. If you think about it from a patriots player or coaches point of view you probably would feel the same thing. I know we will disagree but remember I am talking about THEIR point of view. This is not pop warner these are all adults playing this game it's more important to keep players sharp and to make sure the other team don't come back than to worry about feeling getting hurt.

It's not the job of a NFL player or coach to keep their own scoring down.. it's the other teams players and coaches job to that. I think we all need to step back and remember that

All that I know is youre going to be busy editing BELICHEAT out of every post I make about him. Go ahead and have at it, I can edit it back too.

Its not an attack against anyone at all, you just choose to change it because you dont like it. That is a mod on a power trip. So do you go an edit every thread that you dont like what the person said that WAS NOT AGASINT ANY RULES, so why do it here?

Idont know about you but he has said in other posts he started being a fan in 2000 or something like that if I remember right.

I started caring about the pats at about 10-11 years old so about 1987

Now about forum rules.

You posted that you were using that word to bug me. So that opened the door to this..

posts intended to start a fight or annoy people are not allowed. That falls under abrasive behavior... I may be a staff member here but I am a member here first and behavior like that towards me is just as unacceptable..

AND...

When i go and remove the abrasive part of a post and you edit back that is a bannable offense.. But I am not going to ban you because it's more fun to have you around and I don't think you fully understood that you made it against the rules once you said you were doing it to bug me.

But keep in mind if you continue to edit it back ( so far I have not checked) I could ban you from the site if I wanted to.

PLUS...

It's against the TOS to question a moderator decision or intentions in the open forums. If you have a issue PM the mod or there is a report this post feature

So what was your point?? that I am on a power trip?? If I was I could ban you two different ways right now..

BUT next time you want to question a decision I make PM me. Do not post it here, just because I want to keep you around to talk football with does not mean you are going to have a different set of rules. Plus I am not the end -all authority on this site one of the admins may see it and send you packing anyways.

BTW belicheat does not bother me that much.. In fact it kind of makes you look childish and that you can't argue facts so you play word games. I am editing it out just because you said you were doing it to bug me.

Well back to football. Can you guys believe DR.Z really tried to paint the colts-chargers game as mannings finest hour because his weapons were injured..

Check this link out a website makes fun of the DR.Z manning article and bashes it with facts..

http://www.coldhardfootballfacts.co..._Z_loses_his_license_to_practice_pigskin.html

just for the record bradys"weapons" last year.. 2 are out of the NFL.. and only 1 has caught passes in 07.. (gaffney who is still with NE)

NO I will ban 04dark before I lock the NFL thread, and I doubt any other mod/admin would lock the NFL thread.. and it's over anyways if he wants to respond to me about the rules he is welcome to in private message if he posts in here about it I will remove it and since I am so involved in it i will ask a admin to make the call on him.

Go back to the NFL topic, I have derailed this thread enough and to most of you I appologize for it.

But I do find it Ironic that the first proposed back on topic thread by an un-named patriot fan is one bashing someone complimenting Peyton Manning

The reason Belichick kept the players in and made them play the whole game or when victory was well in reach b/c he was pounding it into the entire team that you have to play 60 mins VS Indy to beat them. They missed a chance at going to last years super bowl b/c they did not play 60 mins of football.

So what they were beating other teams, he was driving it deep into their heads that no matter what the score is you have to play hard and keep playing the full game. They went into the locker room with a 20-6 lead VS Indy last yr, at the end of 60 mins they lost by 4. If "beating up" on other teams is what it takes to drive his point home for them to never stop playing that thats what it takes.

If your one of these people crying about the Patriots running up the score then pull your panties out of your ass crack b/c no amount of whining is going to make Belichick change his mind

I was just trying to argue about high priced kickers vs. other positions and the importance of kickers.. I was not arguing pats> everyone...

Also

Thanks for PMing me your opinion.. I think in the heat of a argument we both got a little out of control. about the rules stuff I should have PM'ed that to you and not posted it on here. That was wrong on my part and Your really not supposed to try to intentionally post things to piss people off, but I also was being a little sensitive to you doing that and kind of nit-picking the rules.. I knew that thats why I did not give you a infraction or a vacation for questioning that in here

We are never going to agree on anything but when we argue we should try to keep it a adult argument so you stop with the name games and I will stop with the nit-picking

Adam V misses another field goal (2) actually. Nice to see the money they paid for him is paying off. Indy can keep him we are all set.
