He was the third, and last, employee on the video staff. In his words, he was Matt Estrella before Matt Estrella, a reference to the Patriots video assistant caught filming the Jets' defensive signals by league officials last September at halftime of a game against New York --

This will be one of my last posts before the big game. Im off to watch the UFC fights tonight and I'll be gone long before the game starts tomorrow. This is why I think the Giants will fail.

Not enough experience on the team and a QB who I still feel as though he has not proven himself yet. He may have won 2 playoff games but hes also lost two.

The Patriots have to many weapons. If you double team Moss then Stallworth or Welker or Gafney are open, or Watson. If they blitz to much brady will just drop back in the shotgun and find the open receiver 5-8 yards down the field. You cant shut down the pass game and the running game at the same time, both of which are hot for New England.

Whats the number one thing you have to do to stop New England? I think we can all agree that stopping Brady is the key. Lets reflect back on how the Giants defense did as far as stopping brady last time. He threw for 356 yards completing 76% of his passes. He controlled the clock for 36 mins he was sacked just ONCE against the leading sacking defense and he threw 0 INTs. From that perspective the Giants defense failed and they will fail again. That one sack they had is very key b/c not only did they sack him just once the Patriots were w/ out Nick Kaczur and Stephen Neal on the front line, they were both inactive for that game along with 280LB blocking Tight End Kyle Brady.

The Patriots are to good at bringing what you do not expect them to do as far as on defense. I dont think at all that Eli will be able to handle what belichick is about to throw at him tomorrow night. When the Patriots went to the super bowl with the eagles the eagles offense prepared for a 3-4 defense for two weeks to get ready for them. The Patriots showed up and played a 4-3.

I believe its to many factors, to many veterans, to much experience for the Giants to over come. I dont in any way see them being able to stop the 19-0 Juggernaut. Tomorrow night a few hrs from now will tell it all.

Pats allegidly taped Rams last practice before 02 Superbowl.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-superbowl-patriots-tapingallegation&prov=ap&type=lgns

This is getting ridiculous if its true. I mean they are getting the government involved in this.

Its Super Bowl sunday why is this crap coming up again? Even in the link Goodall says nothing else was found. This is nothing more then trying to take away what the patriots have earned. There is nothing left for evidence it was all turned over to goodell so what exactly are they going on besides rumors? Arlen Spector is an idiot, nice to see our tax dollars hard at work, Im sure there is so little to be done in congress from Terrorism to illegal immigration that they have tons of spare time to worry about the NFL (kinda funny how specter is from PA and Philly lost to the Patriots in the Super Bowl )

Who's got money on the game today and how much? I bet $10 with a guy at work gave him 10 points. I made some bets online as well.

1st TD for the Patriots will be a run, bet $10 would win $22.50

Total points scored by both teams 50-56, Bet $10 would win $30

Patriots win by 13-18 points, Bet $35 would win $105.00

Total amount on the game of $65.00 best case seneiro I clean house and win $167.50, worse case is I lose $65.00

Nobody but Specter is getting the govt. involved in this. He's bringing up a dead issue that has absolutely no bearing on the general public. The steroids issue is something the govt needed to look at because it affected the youth population due to increased steroid sales and use, which leads to your body breaking down.

He's pissed because Goodell destroyed the Patriots tapes that were given to him so nobody could get ahold of them; he thought he had it all under control when he just locked them up, but Fox somehow got 1 of the tapes and started leaking it out into the public and he didn't want any more of that crap going on.

As far as the Matt Walsh issue, that guy is full of crap. "I've got stuff on the Patriots and the NFL.......... but I can't come forward with it and I won't say what it is." If he really DID have stuff on them, then he would come forward with it and not worry about that organization getting mad at him. He's a disgruntled former employee who was fired about 5 years ago; he seems to be like a Tiki Barber figure.

The timing of this crap coming out is ridiculous. As for this weekend, it is only bad for one team; The Giants. Remember what the Patriots did to every team in their way after the Spygate scandal?.. They started destroying every team they played to prove a point for about 2 months. This may very well have put them right back in their "F you" mode, so we'll see.

Anywho.. I won't be on here until late tonight or sometime tomorrow... so let's hope we all see a good game this evening.

GO PATRIOTS!!

I don't think its a dead issue. They are speaking of taping the rams in the 02 superbowl, the tapes that were destroyed were from 06+.. we will see what its all about, could be smoke, it could be the truth. He said he doesnt want to come out with anything because he's worried about the Patriots retaliation

All i know is its superbowl sunday

Hopefully this is a mamouth upset like superbowl 3..

Of course Goodall said there is nothing else, he wasnt commissioner then and he destroyed all the evidence he did have. Thats why he is in trouble.

Who knows how this will all shake out, but it has legs for good reason.

I hope the Giants can beat the cheaters.

so, something i was wondering about......

does budweiser benefit much off of it's advertising? i realize how much they spend advertising on normal tv, not to mention for the super bowl, but, i figure most people who buy beer know about budweiser, and probably already know if they do/dont like it or not. me, i dont like it much at all, and only drink it if it's the only option. those commercials, while usually good ones, dont sway me one bit. i'll have miller light (or coors as the keg is right now) on tap at my place at all times (rolling rock is preferred, but they quit selling it in kegs here).

so does that advertising make much of a difference?
