The Official kiddiccarus 2007 NFL Thread

Waiting does suck.. It has been giants patriots talk for the past 2 weeks and i love it. But now every argument and angle has been beat to death and i just want them to play already!
Yep.. i'm tired of all the talk and hype.. PLAY THE GAME TODAY!!!! :D

The game will go by way to quick for all the anticipation and build up

I hear that... everytime I look forward to a big game, it goes by SOOOOO fast. Sit down to watch it before kickoff, then all the sudden it's halftime.. start of the 3rd quarter and all the sudden 2:00 left in the 4th.. I'm like "wait.. where'd the rest of the game go? " lol

I think he said he was making a big joke of it and having fun just to cover his tracks
He laughed about it right after he said it. I heard it on radio. He wasn't serious. I think both teams are pretty cool under the situation. The Pats because they have been there. The Giants too because no one is giving them a chance

Going on NE past SB performances I think it will be closer

The tallent level of the patriots VS the other teams in the superbowl's were much closer. I dont think that is the case here. Especially the Giants secondary which I think is going to have a hard time trying to cover Moss...umm Stallworth...oh yeah Watson..umm oh yes Welker, Gafney and dont forget about Falk out of the back field :nice:

All the receivers you mentioned will be trouble except Moss. Moss has a big weakness and that is if he gets whacked he gets rattled.

In 2000 when the Giants played the Vikes for the NFC Championship, the Giants hit Moss hard early in the game. Very hard but fair hits. He just got very gun-shy. The Giants have got to do this again.

The Pats great strength is their passing game. So, either the Giants secondary has to have a hella day or the pressure from the front 4 has to be greater than ever in order to keep the Pats scoring to a reasonable level. It will be a challenge to keep them under 30.

If somehow, the Giants hold the Pats to 30, they still will have to have the offense step up and score > 30! It will be very hard to win this game but not impossible.

One other way the Giants can win: Keep the Pats offense off the field.
The Giants would have to have a strong running game and hog the ball and run the clock. The Giants have a good running attack so they may attempt to go this route. It has a better chance for success than a shoot-out. PLUS, if the Giants somehow execute really well and do not turn the ball over and eat up the clock, then the Pats scoring will have to be down somewhat.

Honestly, the Giants didn't stand much chance against the Cows in Dallass but they won. They stood almost no chance in the frozen tundra and still they won.
I believe that the way things worked out, if any team in the NFL can beat the Pats, it is the Giants. I really feel the Giants peeked at just the right time.

If forced to make a prediction, my heart says 28-27 Giants.

:

If you want to talk about past games and how to handle Moss why do you go back to 2000 when they just played against Moss in week #17. What happened in 2000 is pointless b/c its not even the same players. If you want do a comparison then week 17 would be more accurate, the week he caught 6 passes 2 for TD's and the Giants did not have much of an answer for him.

Really? So what explains the hit he took in the game THIS season against the G-men when he got knocked on his ass and was on the ground for a bit......... he caught a TD the VERY NEXT PLAY :nono:

Manning has 8 TD and 1 int in the last 4 games... 4 TD in 1 game, along with that int. He won't have another 4 TD game against the Pats. Gonna be 1 TD and 1 int. Brady will have 3 TD, 0 int.. Maroney will have 1 TD.. Welker will have 10 catches.

It'll be close until the middle of the 3rd quarter, then the Pats will do what they do best... pull away from the pack.

Gonna be 38-27, Patriots :flag:
