You should bookmark that website.. they have some very interesting articles and stats some people think they favor the pats but I don't think they do.. The patriots just happen to be a top team right now.. They also say good things about the colts and steelers too.

I don't think the Giant's secondary is as bad as everyone really thought..

They had moss covered up pretty well, and that one TD was because webster fell. I think the covered everyone well except welker, which when it came down to it, moved the chains for the pats, but thats about it.. Take away moss, and put brady on his ass and look what happened.. Got beat

Im proud of my Giants.. the knocked the top team in the NFL today....Spags the DC is coming back.... their team is YOUNG and most everyone will probably come back.. it will be a good season hopefully again for us Giant fans

Edited to a more condensed version.. the original was almost my life story.. LOL

I know this was posted almost a week ago and probably not directed at me but I just wanted to say not all of us are bandwagon fans..

I have been a pats fan since the 80's I almost had to be a pats fan considering i grew up in eastern mass and my dad worked for foxboro raceway ( a harness horse racing track now long gone that was on the same lot as sullivan and now gillette stadium)

I litterally played under the bleachers of the old stadium as a kid back when it was schaffer stadium and when it was sulivan stadium.. I even got to go inside the stadium when it was closed and explore the inner workings because my dad knew a lot of the staff and I got to meet some of the players..

I probably would say 1987 or so is when I really started to understand the game and became a true fan.. Before that the players were just big guys I saw driving nice cars to a really cool building that 8 year old SvTtech76 thought was the coolest place on earth

Here is a list of the teams I am a fan of and I don't care if they SUCK they are my teams

Red Sox, Pats,Bruins and Celtics

BTW whats up with all the frauds who posted talking crap AFTER the game who never posted in the NFL threads this season...

I did bookmark it. You and Jason should not expect the Pats to keep the pick they have. I really think they will trade down for a few more picks and clean up that way. They do not need another "star". They need a few good young players so they stay on top for a long time.

I don't enjoy bashing other teams. I have lived through good & bad times. I do enjoy pointing out or tormenting posters that are total a-holes. I think we all do.

I have an forum account at ExtremeSkins.com and surprisingly never got banned. Almost every year the press picks them as the NFC division & Superbowll winner long before the season starts b/c little Danny bought a few top name free agents.

When the Skin fans begin to proclaim the dynasty is starting back in August, I love to go there and make fools of them. It's easy to do. I don't screw with level-headed posters.

I agree. Most likely, one little puke made everyone want to kick him a few times.

I would bet they trade down... Pats will probably try to find secondary help in the draft and sign some vetern LB's

Agreed it takes no balls to show what side you are on after the fact and to pile on.. If the pats won those same people would not even have posted.

I know redline pissed a lot of people off but you have to understand it has been really hard being a pats fan this season because of all the spygate and cheating talk.. A lot of ill informed people out there..

One last thing i want to say is too the two colts fans mostly to 04darkshadow... Look at last years NFL thread I gave my congrats to the colts for beating the pats and pulled for them in the SB...

My team may have lost this SB but at least I did not act like a ass last year after my team was knocked out..

Unlike indy we in boston have two other teams that are in title contention.. the red sox won it in oct.. and the celts look like they will contend for the NBA title so as the giants fans said to redline I say to you 04darkshadow

SUCK IT

Wow - it's getting a bit hostile in here. Calm down - it's only a game (Superbowl) and only a thread (Stangnet).

***Points of observation***

97.5 million viewers watched the Giants / New England Super Bowl making it the most watched Super Bowl ever and second biggest event in American television history (Behind the MASH series finale). Do you really think that one of the highest viewed shows of all time would not gather attention in a thread about a show that was just watched? People cannot comment on the game after it happened? Come on guys. That is a bit ridiculous.
You also have to take into consideration WHO won. Lets face it. The Patriots are considered by many as a team to hate. There will be comments when a hated team that was on such a roll throughout the season lost the only game that really matters. Once again, people are going to comment on this!
I think the only directed gloating was towards Redline - mainly because of his arrogence the entire year, and his arrogence before the game about how he thought the game would unfold. After the amount of arrogent posts by him, do you really think that he wouldn't get called out? If you're going to be arrogent for an entire year, you better learn to eat crow when you are wrong. There are a LOT of Patriots fans in this thread, and I don't think anybody else was called out - mainly because of their professionalism during the season.
I could go on, but I won't...for now. The season's over. The Giants are Superbowl winners. It's just a game. If people are holding grudges a week after the game, get over it! As a diehard Bills fan, I've had to deal with 4 straight Superbowl chokes and teh 2nd worse current playoff draught in the NFL. I can say a thing or two about eating crow!

Threads in other sub-forums on this site were locked, and people who wanted to make fun of the Patriots were directed to this thread What's the difference? You don't have credibility around here unless you post 100 threads of asinine bull**** and smack-talk over the course of a year? OK.......

You and the rest of the pile-on crowd would not have showed up if the pats had won.. We both know thats true..

People who had nothing to say when it looked like the pats would go undefeated all of a sudden had a lot to say...

So you tell me if you were so interested in this game why did you not come post in here BEFORE the game..

Mr.vax, 1990coupe,wht93ed and the rican.. Those people earned the right to talk crap they followed the giants and supported them in here all year ( well the rican showed up late)

You can take your making fun of the pats to some other site that won't notice that you only posted AFTER you got the outcome you wanted.. Me and the other two pats fans could not care less what you have to say.... Next year start posting in sept. and show who you are a fan of and maybe we will care.

BTW nothing you have to say will get me down so don't bother I got to celebrate a championship only a few months ago (red sox) it's not the end of the world I have gotten to see my team win many times this decade..

Me and other boston sports fans have been very lucky to be blessed with such good teams to follow ( well except the bruins and untill this year the celtics)

no other sports market is even close to the boston market in championships this decade so untill somebody catches up why don't you get lost.

Considering you've got what 3 Superbowl wins and 2 World Series. Boston College won the NCAA hockey in 2001.

Detroit has 3 Stanley Cups and 1 NBA championships in that time. Plus Michigan had a NCAA Football Championship and in 2000 MSU won the NCAA Basketball Championship, in 98 U of M won the NCAA Hockey and in 2007 MSU won. Not to mention WBNA, the Shock have two titles...

So, I think you're behind...
