So you think nobody else in the nfl tries to steal signals.. The only reason this is a huge deal is because of who it is and what team it is.. if it was a team that sucks then this would not even be a story because most people with a brain and anybody close to football knows this is everyday stuff.

Now Harrison with HGH that was a big deal to me. That really disappointed me

Ok for the fifth time for the thick headed.. IT IS LEGAL TO INTERCEPT SIGNALS AND TO FIGURE THEM OUT AND USE IT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE. IT IS ILLEGAL TO RECORD IT THE WAY THE PATS DID..

Well I am off to take my kid to a football scrimmage... I will be videotaping the sideline and stealing signals

So feel free to grandstand and stick your head in the sand and pretend only big bad belichick cheated and the rest of the NFL is a bunch of saints. Have fun witch hunting for the rest of the night.

1. do other nfl teams try to steal signals and use them to "cheat"

2. If so what is so bad about using a video camera instead of the Polaroids or other still photos used for this by other teams. or how about the good old fashioned binoculars.

BTW remember there are former players on record saying it's impossible to use this stuff in real time so we are talking about halftime adjustments here

I don't think they cheated....because all teams try to do whatever they can to gain an edge, so its basically all fair play. Well I guess they cheated but they all do so I don't think it gave them any particular advantage that the other teams don't have access to. But I do think they're stupid for getting caught and thus deserve whatever the punishment is.

I certainly don't think this is what has led them to 3 rings in the past years though. To even think that would be pretty ignorant IMHO.

1. How is Mangina sitting down with Caldwell to get info on the patriots any diffrent then what the patriots did?

2. If the Raiders were caught cheating last season no one would have cared b/c their team does not draw attention other then how much they suck.

3. As stated if other teams new that the opposing team was not trying to steal signals then why would coachs cover their mouth.

Last and most important. According to all the Patriots haters/Bashers the patriots have only been good for this long is b/c they have cheated, correct? So in theory now that they have been caught they should now suck and not be capable of winning games, thus they should not make the playoffs this year b/c they are not good enough on their own merits to win games, playoff games, Superbowl's with out cheating? Correct? Please agree/disagree with me and why


My thought is that they will be just as dominant as they have always been. Nothing will change and they sill steam roll their way to another Superbowl.

Every sport cheats (it does not make it right) Baseball, Football, Nascar, Hockey, in one way or another every sport cheats. Nascar gets caught all the time and its never really a big deal. When a team in any sport gets caught the reaction should not be..OMG THEY CHEATED, but...ohh they got caught cheating since it is so common, I dont condone it Im not supporting the patriots for doing it, yet some of you are acting like they are the only team to have ever done this

well i can care less if they got caught i just wanted to thorw out the they cheated thing and be cool other than that im hoping Dallas Does real good this year....

Besides it aint like teams havent been good for numerous yrs. , look at SF they dominated in the 80's.....and Dallas in the early 90's its just the Pats got good and they are one of the top NFL's teams since the early 2000....Indy has been good too but they would fall short until last season...........

Sure he should not have video taped the signals I will give you that and yes they should be punished but to call them cheaters and to say that belichick is not a good coach or that this is why the patriots have won in the past is just moronic.

Sorry guys but I know I am ruining your lynch mob here by point out the inconvenient truth that it's 100 percent legal to try and figure out the other teams signals it's just the way they went about it that was wrong.

Thank you... I am glad somebody sees my point. BTW I have no clue what the pats were thinking, they were being to obvious about it.

I really hope the NFL ends this nonsense by using the helmet headsets for defense.

Yeah I love how manginia sitting down with caldwell is totally ok.... but OMFGG belichick did something.. it's the end of the world and brady sucks. How about when Nick Saban miced a defensinve lineman and recorded the pats offensive play calls. And then synced it up with game film and utterly destroyed the pats offense in the second game last year.

It's common knowledge that they did that but did the pats get all gay about it NO.. you learn to change the dam play calls and move on.

the true feelings and agenda comes out in times like these..

I wish these people would just come out and say " I hate the pats I am glad they got caught doing this, I know all the teams try and steal signals but I really hate belichick and he is a ass and I hope they suspend him or have him drawn and quartered"
