WOW Rivers (is correct in his frustration) is one whiney little bitch

whats he whining about? It was a really bad call and one that cost them points. There is a difference between emotion and whining. If that happened to Manning you think he would be like....... ohh ok, no big deal thats fine, and go sit on the bench and not say anything?

The Bucs were punting and for some reason the punter stopped and held the ball and stood there. Then the refs said there was a loud whistle from the crowd so they re-did the play. The punter is the only player that heard it.

You might do OK, as long as you don't meet Denver in the playoffs. :D

Denver is the least of my worries, espeically when the bills gave them a hard time today.

I just cant get over how well the Patriots played today. Brady had so much time to throw in was unbelievable. Everyone in the post and pre game shows keep bringing up the fact of how close they came to another Superbowl appearance last year w/ out any weapons. Now with the addition of Welker, Moss, Stallworth on offense and a hell of a one two punch running game whats to stop them from going all the way this year?

That's all well and good, except that Belicheck (sp?) has never beat Shanahan with the exception of 2003 when we were down to our 3rd string QB (and even then we almost won). History says that if you meet Denver, you're probably going to lose. Also, remember today that you played the Jets, who are far from a good team.

Denver is a young team with a whole new defensive scheme and a QB who just had only his 6th start. However they are easily one of the most talented teams in the league and will be very scary once they gel together.

At least we can agree that the AFC is war superior to the NFC though! :nice:

All 100% true. It will scare me if it comes playoff time and the Steelers have to face your Pats. It looks like they are the team to beat.

Oh, and Denver doesn't stand a chance against the Pats.:nonono: History means nothing. If you go by History....SF, DAL, and PIT have the best chance at the championship, they are historically the most successful...

Ugg the steelers, they looked really good today. Granted it was VS the Browns but they played fundamental sound football, no misakes. Roethlisberger looked like he did when they made the superbowl run a few years ago. Granted this is all just week #1 and a lot can change for a lot of teams

Well it could be like Brady 2 years ago on MNF whining like a bitch because NE got their asses handed to them......

I said that he was correct in his feeling just a whining bitch....
