The Official kiddiccarus 2007 NFL Thread

oh and PS.... in one of your previous posts in maybe another thread you mentioned that how being a gmen fan and making it to the top would be better since we were so much underdogs and how the pats are like expected so like its not as big a deal and how they were never underdogs....

in that superbowl with they rams which they won in 2002, they were 14point underdogs i didnt know that

01 season, superbowl being in 02

You didnt think they were under dogs? This is the only superbowl they have played in where they have not been under dogs. Going back to 1986 and 1997

according to ESPN that was the year they started 0-2

i didn't realize they were underdogs.. its been a while since that bowl. I remember routing for them now that i think about it because they were underdogs

no one gave them a chance in hell of beating "The greatest show on turff" Brady was still very green he had taken over for bledsoe when he went out hurt previously in the year.

A lot of people are giving the Giants a fighting chance b/c of how well they did on week #17, historically..most of the time teams that have played the patriots twice in a year, if they lost to them the first time or it was a close game they usually dont fiar as well the second time around. Belichick is very good at breaking down film of a team, especially when they played the patriots and finding an offensive and defensive weakness. I believe they will try and make eli beat them by shutting down the running game putting them in thrid and long and putting it on Eli's shoulders

I would have to agree with you 100%.. Both teams will have 2 weeks to examine all films.. the week 17 film espically. I expect belichick to find all flaws in the g-men armor. I realize winning this one is a hugeee long shot, but i just want the Giants to play good solid football for 4 quarters and not go down without some kind of fight. I think this appearance will be much better then the 2000 superbowl with the Giants vs Ravens.. :rlaugh: Kerry Collins looked like a dear in the headlights!

please don't remind me :nonono:

Im just conveying some interesting stuff thats brought up on ESPN, some of it holds true, some of its bunk but its all interesting. Im just trying to bring some conversation into the thread so no need to be cynical

WTF?

Why is everyone so defensive about stuff I say lately? sheesh

I was just commenting on the ridiculous statistics they give out every week, I dunno what the hell you interpreted it as.

:rlaugh:

Nah...I just like to give you and redline a hard time. There are a lot of former LSU players on the Patriots so I like to see them do well. Although Corey Webster plays for the Giants now but I can't stand Eli. Soooooooo,...

GO PATRIANTS

I will swing by your house with the bandwagon to pick you up... We will give you the seat painted in LSU colors.
