svttech76 wanted me to let everyone know that he isn't avoiding StangNet, his computer died yesterday. He did say to congratulate the Giants fans on winning the Super Bowl!

and if we would have lost, i would have still been rockin my avatar as i'll be a die hard giant fan till the end.
and i'm not changing mine! haha. i'll be a gator till i die, and i will remain having no interest in the NFL till i die (more than likely).
A lot of hate in here lol
Everybody's getting their shots in that they waited ALL SEASON for...
Just knowing he was so embarressed he had to ditch the Pats avatar brings a chit-eating grin to my face.
Like Belichick did with the final play, many Pats fans will be heading for the door and off the wagon now. A lot of Pats NFL gear will end up being used to wash/wax Mustangs. And if you think about it, that's the way it should be.
Perhaps some forlorn Pats & Cows fans can get together and form a club of some sort.

Its funny, he didn't post in the "suck it" thread, and im sure he won't post much at all in a football related thread for a while.. Just my guess..
Funny how all the trash talk, what goes around, comes around..

indeed, except that michigan vs uf was not for a national championship (or world championship in the pats case) and neither team was undefeated in that game...
nice try though

It was just as big an upset even though it wasnt for a title.

true, it was a big upset, but my previous statement, that you made that reply to, i said it was a very similar scenario, with one team undefeated, and supposed to whoop the other, and the underdog. so saying what i was saying is true to michigan/uf isnt true. but saying a new statement, that the uf loss was as big of an upset as this, is true
Reports are coming in Brady will miss the pro bowl due to an ankle injury...
What's a pro-bowl? Isn't that the NFL popularity contest where players from losing teams gather to grieve together? I think they signed 12 Cowboys to appear. The Giants were forced by league rules to send 1 player. Osi got the short straw.
I gotta say congrats Giants...they earned it. As for the Pats, should've tried harder. I only caught the 2nd half and all i saw was 2 false starts, a whole slew of sacks and more incomplete passes than should've been. There was a point where Brady made a pass where he was about 10 yards from the goal and was wide open, he could've ran it in himself but passed and it was incomplete. I usually root for the underdog but i thought it would be cool to see a team go all the way undefeated. I can't honestly say they didn't buckle under pressure.

thats the dumbest thing so far in this thread. First of all Giants lost that first game, second of all you dont think brady has seen everything that can be thrown at him by now
Go ahead, keep thinking they have a chance, its funny
WOW!!!! REDLINE was actually right!!!!
He hadn't seen everything that could be thrown at him...like A PUNISHING PASS RUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently they didnt tape the final walk through of the Giants like they supposedly did to the 01 Rams.
The only way I could be happier today is if the Colts won the superbowl.
