The Official kiddiccarus 2007 NFL Thread

I don't drink. Are you trying to say I need to loosen up?...
I don't drink either...but yes...lighten up a bit.

All of my comments were to get a little back and forth...not offend. I am a Dolphins and Saints fan, and an LSU alum, and will defend my school/teams but I also understand that this is all in fun. Don't take things so personally.

My son is a big Bengal and Cavalier/Lebron fan but I don't hold it against him. :D

I wouldn't call them "dropouts"... You going to call Antonio Gates and LT dropouts? There are a LOT of players that will not be participating in the Pro Bowl, due to injuries or various other reasons. Brady has the hurt ankle, which is why he isn't playing.

while I do agree with you to some extent; Gates has a confirmed broken toe & LT's injury was bad enough to keep him outta the championship game...so I can cut them slack...

But Brady's "alleged" ankle injury, and Moss...who knows. We all know they're just nursing their wounds, while not necessarily crying along with TO, I'm sure their pissed.

Me, I don't see any point in the pro-bowl anyway; just make some guys that don't like each other play on the same team; do any of you guys even watch it or is it just an excuse to squeeze in 1 last week of football until next year?

Just so my favorite Mod knows before hand

Not bad considering I had two computers crash during the season :nice:

For me to taunt a Pats fan who never made fun of the Giants would be classless.
Hell, I don't even torment my co-worker, the Eagles fan & believe me, I really want to. They never won a Superbowl and never will.

I enjoy sticking it to the bandwagon fan we have or had here. I tried to stop him from making an ass out of himself for at least 2 months but he had to keep it up.

It's really good for him that the NY Giants and Eli Manning rammed all the crap he said striaght up his ass. It teaches him a lesson in humility.

What the Giants did in the last 5 weeks was like something out of a movie. David & Goliath, the Little Engine that Could. Many people that are not Pats or Giants fans said it was the best SB they ever saw. To me, it was amazing. I have to admit, I wasn't very sure the Giants would win but apparently they were.

I have been trying to stop him from that for two years. Here is the funny thing. He slams my Steelers all the time and yet, my team has won a Championchip more recently than his has. Yes, the Pats have two more but they the Steelers have a young QB and RB who are both bad ass. So my Steelers have a good chance of doing great things soon also. And if that happens. I'll never be like that. And you all could hold me to that.

What happened on Superbowl Sunday is the main reason why I don't talk smack on other teams. All the north jersey kids go to Rowan University where I go. The place is filled with Giants fans. I was talking with every one of them and being humble about the game, before and after. I stood by my team, but I wasn't a jerk about it.

And if I were Brady or Moss, or any of the Patriots, the last thing I would want to do is play in another meaningless game all the way out in Hawaii. I'M still practically heartbroken about the loss, I can't imagine how they feel. They probably just don't want to face all the reporters asking the same damn questions that they don't want to think or talk about. I don't blame them. I saw it coming to be honest with you.

and im the same way.. I'm not the person to say this team sucks, that team sucks... I'm a football fan, i love it! A team can stink for a season but i dont really "hate" a team.. just strongly dislike :)

I was humble this entire season. And after the giants won i still didn't go around bragging how "the giants are the best patriots suck horrayy!" Its any given sunday

Aw don't be too hard on ol' Redline. Smack talk is part of football. Players do it, coaches do it and fans can too. But when there is crow to be eaten then he should stick around for seconds and thirds.

Yea he needs to come in an get a tast of pwnage.. I'll make sure its addressed in August don't you all worry :nice:

Yeah...once they learn that running it up the middle every other play just doesn't really work. *sigh*

The defense was best in the league but the offense wasn't keeping up.

I don't get how that team looked SO GOOD the first half of the season this year...and SO AWFUL the second half.

Well, I suppose there's always next season. Two good RB's, Ward will still be around, and Tomlin is definitely gonna be a great coach.
