The right cam under .550 lift.

Hey guys, I was wondering if you had any advice of what cam I should run with AFR Heads and 1.7RR's. I have a .550 max lift on my springs. The car is just gonna run mostly street and is a stick car with 3.73's. Hopefullly you guys can help right now I am thinking of the Crower 15511. Sounds perfect!

the exaust lift is over.550, but it should be ok.

actually, if u want it to be emissions legal go with stage1, which is also a really great cam and under.550 lift on in and ex

So far it seems noone has ran the 15511 or doesn't like it, everything I have read on it has been good, along with the trickflow stage 1. So what do ya think, trickflow or crower?

um, my buddy had a tfs stage 1 cam in his car with nearly the same combo. It ran good... Could of done better with a BETTER cam, like a... *cough custom *cough cam....

Ok, lets try this, anybody running AFR 165 emissions legal heads with the .550 limit springs, and what cam you running?

Thanks for the help guys, I am leaning towards the trickflow stage 1 mainly due to price and it seems a little more agressive than the Crower 15511. Due I have to run the springs that are recomended for the cam or can I use the ones on the AFR 165's. Because if I have to change them, I might at well run a bigger better cam above .550 lift, what do ya think?

Gotta use the ones that are right for the cam, otherwise if you over spin it you'll hurt all kinds of parts.
