What about a '03 Cobra R hood insert?

This is the truck version, but the Mustang one doesn't show up too well with it being red. You've got the wheels and the wheel well openings, I don't think getting a lift off hood (or maybe they have one that one of the corners is damaged) and cutting the center out to put on your hood would be too outlandish and would pay tribute to the donor car. I'd be willing to bet once they saw how extensive a project it is, they'd probably donate it to the cause for a little recognition.

OR BETTER YET!!!! Cervinis is noted for making some of the finest fiberglass products for cars out there. What you could do is send them your hood and they could make a mold off of it and make a custom, one off hood for the SN95 car AND THEN we could show our support by asking them to make hoods for the rest of us and maybe we could get some quality fiberglass for the early Mustangs made. That, my friends, is a fine plan.

i'm with you bro, i'd like some quality glass for the 69 as well, especially the shelby style decklid and end caps and a really nice glass hood

Hi SN65, congratulations on such an excellent project. I only wish I had the time, talent and tools to pull off a job like that. Just one comment on the bonnet. I noticed that the bonnet you are using has pin holes in the front. Are you planning on leaving these as is, filling them or replacing them? I've always thought that the 'lynch pins and safety chain' installations look very 'afterthought' and cheap. I think the lines would look cleaner using one of these options:

Here is another nitpick. Under your "What Have We Done?" there is the following line "What we have done is taken a slightly different approach to “rest-o-moding”.

You need to put another "d" into rest-o-modding and put the period before the quote.

Site looks good, I am glad everything is consolidated there.

I'm been meaning to ask when the 2003 fender flares got axed in favor of the modified Eleanor flares. I think that must have happened behind the scenes. What caused the change?

I also noticed that the site says "All the current safety features (air bags, etc…) and electronics have been retained." Didn't you decide against using the air bags or did something change?
