ironman what did it cost you for that paint job?

my dad runs a ford dealership so i was able to use the booth in the back.. it cost around 300 bucks for materials using good grade clear but not top-o-line stuff.. PPG paint and PPG primer.. if you want it done right.. your best bet is finding someone who would help you for a couple hundred bucks.. this guy that paints lambos and ferraris took a liking to me and helped my paint it for 200 bucks labor.. just strip it and sand sand sand.. do all the body work you can.. block like hell and hope for the best lol

9 Duece, thanks man. I've been adding alot to it lately. Yeah, it has been a while. My computer was a POS, and I was not online much at all. Gotta new one now, good to go.

DemonGT, Ironman's right. They are '03 Cobra seats. Have the same ones in my '98 Cobra vert, just black/ tan. Badass seats! Comfy as hell!

Masonozz,

Your car is amazing as always. I know it's been a while since I've been on, so congrats on the mag coverage!

By the way, last night after reading your post, I clicked on the link to your wire hiding section. Bad move for me. I know I've been saying forever that I am gonna do it in mine, but after looking at your car again, and being bored today, I started on and finished the passenger side. I'll post pics elsewhere on the forums.

My motor's all torn down right now while the heads are getting some port work and the intake is getting polished, so I figured while everything's out of the way, I'll move the rest out of the way. Not gonna fill holes or repaint right now. My heads will be back from the machine shop this week, and I want the car running this weekend, so maybe over the winter I'll be tearing the motor out to do paint and all...............thanks for the thorough pics anyway!:nice:

Hope you enjoy and give me your honest replies if any on the wire hiding! If you go to all this trouble you might as well fill all the holes as well. Damn i couldnt post all of them cause i guess we are limited to how many we can post so i'll do it later or if anyone needs a certian shot i can see if i have it. peace
