I could never sell my 03gt, not a chance in hell. I would sell my left arm to keep my car and just convert it to a auto so I could keep driving it.

I was once a chevy guy, had a 81 camaro at one point. later in life I couldnt afford the insurance on a 98-02 camaro so I bought a 2000 honda civic when I was 21 and did a few mods to it. No, I wasnt a ricer. I had tastefull things done to my car. Simple rims and relitively stock looking with some boltons. I had some fun in that car but in may of 06 my honda was stolen. It was found striped of its sound system, boltons and wheels. All this added up to more then the car was worth so my insurance totaled the car and after they cut the check to my credit union all I had to shell out of my pocket was $138 to pay off the loan. All this was actually a blessing in disguise. It was time to find some HP and TQ.

I started looking at other FWD cars like cobalts and srt4s and later looked for 98-02 ss or z28 camaros. I couldnt find a cobalt or srt4 for a decent price nor a camaro that wasnt beat on, most had leaking oil pan gaskets and diffs. The few camaros I did find that were in good shape with decent milage the owners/dealers wanted a fortune for them because they had LS1s in them and were the last few years they were built. There was no way in hell I was going to pay $25,000 for a camaro with 30,000+ miles just because it was the last year made, because the cars blue booked at less then $20,000.

I finally started looking at the cars I grew up hateing, Mustangs. I couldnt believe I was considering buying one. I think I started looking at stangs because they were more prevelent and decently priced. One night after work test drove a 03 mach1. While getting on the freeway I got on it and hit 70mph before I could blink and was almost hooked. I didnt buy that car after I found out about the requirement of premium fuel and how high my insurance would be. So I started looking at GTs. I found the first at future ford in roseville but had some issues with them and the car and passed. Two days later I found my stang at elk grove ford with 29k on the clock. I test drove it and was hooked. I walked out of the dealership paying 2gs less then blue book and a affordable cost of ownership, both payment and insurance. I left the dealership at 930pm that night and didnt get home untill 1am, I put 200 miles on it in the first night.

I have been in love with my car ever since I refuse to seperate from it. I have added a vortech blower and mild suspension, mach 1 brakes and mild appearance mods. Almost all of this due to info I got from all of you guys on this site and a few others but this forum has always helped me the most.

Once you sink a certain ammount of cash into your car - you reach the point of "no point of resale". No dealer would take the trade in, and most private parties that don't know about cars will try and lowball you all day. My car is going no where. Ever.
