Ok so here's the thing, I am using copper plugs and they have fouled out on me before so I was quick to think that that was the case!

I looked at my cluster and the THEFT LIGHT is flashing. The car is Obviously trying to stop but it is still sputtering. I am trying to make it to the parts store so in order to get there I had to go WOT!

I had a spare key made a while back just in case I broke the programed one and the car will start but then shut off. I thought the theft thing was not supposed to let the car start at all?

HERES THE REAL TWIST, WHY WOULD THE CAR ALL THE SUDDEN THINK IT IS GETTING STOLEN?

Would I be able to turm off the theft control with and SCT tuner?

if i remember correctly, the flashing theft light is a trouble code. does it blink like it's doing morse code? it may not be in actual "theft" mode.

It just blinks like it is in "theft" mode.

For some reason my car will start and then shut off with an un coded key instead of not starting at all.

But usually, bad IAC's don't trip the theft light.

So maybe try cleaning the IAC and resetting the PCM?
