There are noises coming from under my car?

I've got a '98 cobra convertible with a loose dust sheild on the front driver's side. I just discovered the problem after driving with the top down over some rough pavement with the stereo off, when I heard a loud clanking noise. When I apply the brakes it stops. So I just reached through the wheel and yanked on the dust sheilds at all four corners and only the driver's side shook up and down. It really sounds crappy when it starts rattling as I drive by. I was wondering if anybody knew how to tighten the dust sheild? I have not had a chance to fool around with it yet, but can it can be done without removing the rotor? I'm not really sure how its tightened down.

Also, I while listening for the rattling I heard a squeeking noise coming from the front passenger side wheel. It increases in "squeek rate" as speed increases. It seems like it starts at about 20-25 mph. I had taken it to a shop for a humming noise on that side, which turned out to be a bad wheel bearing. The humming stopped but the squeeking continued. The mechaninc said he could not see what was causing the squeeking. Anybody know what could be causing this and how to fix it?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I also have the sqeaking noise from the drivers side of my 98 GT Convertible.
Ive been going thru things trying to pinpoint them..but no luck so far.
please advise if you find out what the noise is.
