at least it went to a good cause.

ordered some 4.10's today, plus an install kit, and bought a couple new torque wrenchs because im just crazy enough to do the swap myself instead of paying a mechanic $400+. still need to get a couple other little things (marking compound, speedo gear, fluids, and more tool storage), but i hope to be able to get it done the first weekend in october. ive got a couple good internet writeups on it, but if anyone has any good tips i could probably use em. hopefully if everything goes well i can take a friday night off an go see what shell run over at gateway, im hoping high14's/low15's since this thing is still pretty much stock (all its got is exhaust atm).

Measure, measure, measure and measure one more time to make sure it's right.

Have fun.

if i knew of any around here i would, and thats the funny thing about it, ive lived in this town my whole life and still dont know where any good shops are. guess thats a side effect of wanting to do everything myself, you dont really go out and find other people to do it for you. oh well, im confident i can do it myself, plus itll be one more thing to knock off the skills list.
