205-210 is still very reasonable...180 is very common addition and run one in mine.

I run a 180 and sometimes I think it's too cool but that's reading my stock gauges. I am going to be installing some autometer gauges in my car this year for sure.

Agreed. My preference is Mr Gasket brand 180* though it really sounds like you are doing fine. Like Derek said, those temps are right on.

Good luck.

Roland, check your local speed shop. They're 10 bucks at mine. Otherwise, if Summit or Jegs ships to Canada for a reasonable rate, the stats are under 9 bucks IIRC (if you are placing an order for something else - so you dont get hit with big S/H for just a stat).

It could be worth calling local parts stores to see if they can order the stat for you too - one or two of the 'parts oriented' chains here can get them.

Good luck bud.

I have a NAPA and a Car Quest 4 and 5 blocks from my house that would be handy if they can get them

I use a 180* Stant superstat. I drilled a little hole in it to aid in air bleeding when changing out the water.

Canadian Tire sells high flow thermostats that work great.Good quality and bigger than the standard Mickey Mouse size.

They can also order performance parts.
