Things to do before clutch goes in???

Well I just got the old Pilot Bearing out (That was a royal pain in the a$$, had to use a dremel tool) So I'm ready to start the assembly of the clutch, I saw on the outside of the old pilot bearing that there was some kind of grease or oil...Do I have to put something on it before I press it in???...And I know you have to clean the clutch parts with brake cleaner, but do I spray that stuff on the clutch disc too??

And what are the torque specs for the flywheel and pressure plate???

make sure the hole in the crank where the pilot bearing goes is free of burrs and is smooth. if it is a bronze pilot bearing soak it in ATF overnight, wipe ATF on the input shaft of the tranny where the pilot bearing rides also, and avoid excess(you dont want oil on your clutch disk or plates..i would get the flywheel machined while you can, it only costs about 35.00 and extends the life of your clutch big time. most machine shops can do this relatively easy, it will also remove any cracks(any cracks over 1/4" and the flywheel is considered junk). clean the pressure plate and flywheel with brake cleaner to remove any fingerprints(oil), do not spray the clutch disk just wipe it off with a clean rag. the torque specs are 22-25ft.lbs if i remember right, somewher in there and you should be good, tighten them in a star pattern as you would a wheel a couple turns at a time until snug, otherwise you may distort the mating surface. Well, its smoothe all around but there are to areas where my dremel went to deep and cut into the crank but nothings hindering the path of the pilot bearing...I already had my flywheel cut and the starter ring was flipped in the process...the bearing isnt bronze so can I get by with not soaking it but rubbing a little of the ATF around the outside??
