I found a Professional Products intake plenum and 75mm TB for 200 bucks non polished, 230 or so polished... I know most of you said that it wont do much, but if it does anything then id be happy... and its also there so it will benefit from future mods possibly. Thats pretty much the price of a throttle body alone...

Imput?

I don't see gears on your list. They should be #1 along with a shifter.

I'd get an off-road midpipe first.

But to answer your question, a buddy of mine got one of the Prof Prod TB/plenum combos. He said he had to take a Dremel tool and finish out the insides. He says it's as good as the $400+ Accufab combo (which also required a little bit of buzzing).

gear and shifter should come WAY before that mod. along with subs to. I had a tb on my 00 gt and it did nothing, no hp improvements at all. now if you were blown then it would help, but really, spend the money on something you will feel and actually help out.

gears
mid pipe
lca
subframes

should all come before that IMO. my plenum and TB did not compare to those mods as far as seat of the pants goes.

I just put that combo on my car and I like it. The throttle response is crisp and I feel a bit more snap when I am running around 50 & stand on it. With some other mods, it is well worth the money in my opinion. I am getting set to go to the track this coming weekend. I will post the difference, if any. I am expecting a little more in trap speed.

I noticed some increase in snappyness, and top-end power with my C&L/BBK75mm. I'm sure 4:10s would be much more noticable though.

Gears will be your best mod for the money. A larger TB won't do much they are more for a supercharged car to allow more air to flow. It's your money but my opinion save alittle more and go for gears!!
