Think i found my pushrod problem:rockers, need some info.I Put SOme PICS IN
here is my problem,i got 1.7 pedistal mount roller rockers for my ford 5.0. they dident have any instructions from jegs. I need some info. I installed them using the stock square u beam that goes between the 2 valves, and now there is way to much clearance between the push rod and the rocker. Then i installed a stock rocker, and everything was fine. Next i took and bolted down the roller rocker with just what came with the kit, the square base to the head, and it seems fine. But, my question is, do i need to use those small square ties that are on the stock setup? it seems they made the base of your lifter to fit into those, but they rise it to much. thanks any help would be great
without that peice
the peice im talking about
here is what teh base looks like:
So, it looks like i need this, true?
Lastly, what pushrods(length) do i need?
