Think we're gunna sell the 07 GT.......

Maybe a little weird question Poop but are you and Kool brothers? Do you have the same Dawg momma? If so, did you guys get picked on for your brothers name? Or did anyone ever combine your names and call you some Kool Poop Dawg? Me and my best friends were Maxwell House Coffee which quickly became Maxwell House Coffee Decafinated French Blend!!!!

 :rlaugh:
As far as I know, we aren't...
My nickname came from a dog picture I colored using a paint program and the 6 was added due to my favorite NASCAR driver, Mark Martin. My g/f commented, "Cool dog". The rest they say is history...

LOL. Well, my name came about because I nick named my brothers first car, a brown Escort, the poopdawg. As they say, the rest is history.

I'm a Mark Martin fan as well. He's an excellent driver, should have been WC champion in the early 90s.

Now to the topic of car colors, I chose Tungsten Grey because it doesn't show dirt as bad and has a metallic flake to it that always washed up nice. I had a white 2001 Mustang V6 before this car and it was a b*tch to keep clean. I had black cars before and had similar problems with keeping them looking good due to dirt and scratches.

Love black

After 21.000 miles of pure fun in my 07 GT bought over a year ago, I just love my car, and couldnt imagin selling it. Mine is black with white stripes, and ya I do have a few chips in the paint.

But I never expected anything else! I sure as hell didnt want them, but if you drive your car every day its gonna happan eventually. I just use a black magic marker and touch up the little spots and it lasts for a long time after waxing. I have to look hard to see the chips after doing this, and it may seem lame but it works.

As far as rear end problems, why not just insist on getting it fixed under warranty?
Mine made the growling sound turning in a tight circle, I took it in to have it fixed, and that was the end of it. Buy your self a new Camero, and then you will feel some real pain!

he had it fixed about 6 or 7 times. it never was actually fixed. ford finally gave him some cash to disappear. they replaced the gears several times, the entire rear axle assembly too, all without curing his problems. even upgrading to 4.10s didnt help him.

I did'nt know that. That is way out of line! I guess I am just lucky " for now " and havent had any problems. And since this is my first Ford in my 53 years of being here, It makes me worry some, because I allways associated Fords with the "Fix Or Repair Daily" thing.

I have allways been a Mopar man. But the 07 Mustang looked so good, and drove so well compared to my 98 Jeep Wrangler, I freaked out and bought one. And I have never had so much fun in any car I ever had in my life even if a few were a bit faster than my Mustang.

poopdawg got a rare car indeed. that is not the norm for the mustang. a small problem here or there, but not anything like poop was experiencing....
