im not really feeling the black wheels, and i don't know why cause i normally love black wheels. anyways im thinking about stripping them completely down and polishing them then clearcoating.

My long term goal is to repaint the car Bimini Blue.

I need your help. talk me into or out of doing it.

I had em posted for trade but everyone wants to trade R wheels straight up and i don't like em as much. id love to find fat/skinnies but yah...

Oh, and please no comments about how its my car, do what I want. I want your opinions otherwise I wouldnt post this thread!

I dunno if I would polish them totally. Polished/ chrome bullits don't look right to me. The spoke just doesn't have a good shape to be shiny.

Black just looks dirty, but I like charcoal or maybe a anthracite like the oem style. It's dark so you get contrast but there is some color as well.

car looks better with the black wheels. the gunmetal ones would look good.
You DO NOT want to polish those. if youre dead set of a shiny wheel, sell them and get the chrome ones. Polishing wheels the CORRECT way is a PITA and takes forever....FOREVER. Not worth the manual labor.
