ok, heres what i am tossing around in my head;
my 67 stang has a 5.0 with gt40x heads and the x303 cam. i'm thinking of swapping them with the gt40 iron heads and stock cobra cam in my 93 lx 331. i would also swap the cobra 1.7's to the 67 and use the stock 1.6's in my stroker.
my 67 is mainly for cruising around town, looking good, etc.
my 93 331 is for street/strip action. you can see my mods in sig so you'll agree i need more head and cam. i know the gt40h heads are so-so but they're FREE as i already have them. do you guys think the x cam would work ok with my stroker motor? the advertised power band is 3500-6200 which may be a bit high for the explorer intake, but i can get a trickflow intake later. i can do this complete swap in one day if i dont hit any roadblocks, i'm just not sure of the cam for my stroker.
