Hey everyone. Been a while since I have been on here. Hope all is well. I have just got the engine out of my 2000 GT and have a couple of options. . .

1. build my SOHC or

2. Have a chance for a Mach 1 03 Engine with low miles. My question, other than the computer, what else do i have to do to make this work. I know my speedo clustor is different and such. How do I make that right? What all do i gotta do for this to work. Thanks everyone. :nice:

To me the mach 4v isn't all that impressive. If your going to go through all that trouble, you might as well install a 03 cobra motor. Then your talking MASSIVE power. Just buy a VT long block, and don't look back.

Built 2v will make more power than a stock mach motor. But the 4v motor in the mach has much more power potential than a 2v if built up. Just matters on what you want and how deep your pockets are.

the reason i ask is i came across a 4v that i can get for a good price. i am going tobuild which ever one i want. i know i can make the 2v powerful too, just wanted to know what all i had to do to make it work. btw, not big on paying a big money for a 03 cobra motor and really cant find one.
