Well I have a slight vibration since my gears went in and since I have to pull the D/S to change out the rear transmission seal this is probably a great time to get it on a bench, change out the universal joints, clean it up and paint it.

So I jsut looked at advanced auto parts online and they have some joints from less than $12 all the way to like $50 a joint.

So realistically what do I need and what do I need to change them out?

Thanks,
Chris

IMO get an aluminum D/S they are better balanced and lighter weight.

I agree with slytherin
Unless you are doing the u joints your self it would be better to get the Aluminum D/S they come with u joints. So the price is about the same.
Try explaining that to your wife!

Even with new uni's you will still have bad vibes due to the increase in rotating speed of the D/S. The other part of Uni's is if you dont install them perfectly you will have worse vibes than B4(I did them on the dakota I had within 6months I had it in the shop getting a pro to do them)(there is an art to it).
