Thinking of replacing the 460

I swapped the head unit out last year. Now I'm thinking of pulling everything else. If I do is there any reason I couldn't use the wiring that powers the 460 amps to power the new amps? From what I've seen nobody makes a tweeter that fits in the upper door location so can that housing be removed and not look funky?

The wiring to the stock amps is smaller then you should use with aftermarket. I run 8awg to my amps, 1 to each amp. It all depends on how big your new amps are. As far as the tweeters, you can take out the stock tweeters and put in aftermarket tweeters, just takes some modifications. or you can remove the mach tweeters and get the plate that came in the cars that dont have a mach system. then you could sell all the mach stuff on Ebay.

Were could I pick up the plates for cars without the Mach system? Dealer only?
