This normal for lakewood drag struts?

I just bought some Lakewood Drag Struts 70/30 on and i havent driven it yet, but i can noticably tell that they compress a lot softer than stock, like if i lean on the car it compresses a lot easy, is this normal?

i think they are supposed to compress easily and than rebound (extend) quickly. thats what makes them a 70/30 shock. it makes the front end raise quicker and come down soft
