Look @ it this way; we'll really know that Saleen Inc. has truly "jumped the shark" when we see Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears or Paris Hilton once again being arrested for DUI & the car they were driving is a Saleen Mustang.

That's a legit number Marcus saw!!! I've seen one car with a number that was in the 1600's and thought that was crazy also!!

Ahh, yeah, the 4 digets cars are what most like to say, OVER PRODUCTION. It will be a long time before a mass produced Saleen will be worth it's weight.

That's crazy! I wonder if that Number represents all the models combined or just the S281's. If that is just the S281's and there are different production #s for all the other odd models such as the "Heritage cars", and "RF's" and trucks "Did I miss any?" there are a huge amount of vehicles coming out of that Company these days.

The H281 Heritage line in 07 had it's own numbering (1-58 I think), so that bumper
number doesn't include them.

Could somebody photoshop that so that the bumper number has 7+ digits?! :lol Pretty soon they will have to leave the bumper number off, honestly 4 (or more) digits looks ridiculous!

Saleen serializes their vehicles separately. S281's, Sporttrucks, S7's, H281's, PJ's & Extremes all have unique serial number sequences.
