I was wondering do you guyz get them installed and bumpsteer checked professionally...or do you guyz do it yourself. I've got MM bump kit and the directions are soo long and they want me to buy their install kit (another 150 bux). I was wondering what kinda local place would do it right? Or if you guyz have any tips on installing them myself that would be nice. Just let me know.

I'm running one from Griggs Racing. I did the install and alignment myself, but if you're not sure, take it somewhere. It shouldn't be any more involved than a tie-rod replacement installation wise but make sure that you take it to an alignment shop that has the ability to chaeck bumpsteer. That's the crucial ingredient.

I see...I'm not worried about installing myself but using the right washers/spacers to get it right and setting my toe afterwards is what worries me. Chances are I will have to get an alignment afterwards anyways so i figured why not have a shop do it right and not have to worry about driving around with F##ked up static toe until I can get one.

You could always measure the distance from some set point to the center of the stock tierod, then use that same measurement to the center of the heim joint on the bumpsteer kit. That way you'd at least be close with the toe. Bumpsteer we'll be okay to drive on until someone can do a professional bumpsteer alignment.

Just curious as to what exactly do you have for a suspension, i.e. springs shocks/struts and so on. How low did your springs drop your car?

I've got MM stuff, but I guess the race springs and C/C plates are the only items that really effect lowering. I got a good alignment and don't have any bumpsteer. In fact, my car rides smoother and takes bumps better than ever before.

I'm not saying you don't need bumpsteer stuff. I talked to MM a good bit and they were right when they told me I didn't need it. But, they did say it would be necessary if I got close to the 2" drop point. Just a thought.

Up front its steeda sport springs (lower the car about 1.25"), offset control arm bushings, steeda tubular front swabar, steeda CC plates, tokico illumina 5-ways. I have the whole g trac kit (stages 1,2 and 3) on the car but this is the front stuff. Hmmm, bumpsteer is not crazy but its there. I would not like to have it at all. For reference my stock 95 vert had some bumpsteer and right now its not too much worse than that but even stock bothered me so now its annoying. I mean what bothers me may not bother you so its a matter of opinion as to how bad it is.
