Ok well the engine is in and tranny and everything. I have a PA Racing K-member and 03 cobra A-arms as part of my updated new suspension. Well i know i have read that you are supposed to have the car at ride height when you tighten down the A-arms bolts. I dont have a drive on lift at my house so i was thinking i could put the car up on jack stands and then jack up the A-arm to ride height and then tighten the Bolts. How does that sound? I was told by PA racing that its 80ft/lb on them too. Does that sound right? Thanks for the input guys.

How about drive up ramps in the front and a jack/jackstands in the rear to level it back out. It would give 8 or more inches to work under there

I'm wondering something along the same lines, my thing is, I'm trying to decide which K member to go with. I figure i'll purchase the K member, and the A-arms that go with it... I know UPR has the K member, A arms, and also the coilovers for $699. I still need to look into Griggs, and Maximum Motorsports, along with flipping through some catalogs. why did you go with who you went through, and how'd you find out about them?

yes you should have the control arms at ride height when tightening--failure to do so may result in bushing bind that results in premature wear/ill handling.

you can try to jack up the arms, but i would bet the car will come off the jack stands before ride height is achieved.

ramps--like previously mentioned--as well as just getting them snug and having your alignment guy tighten them when its on the alignment rack. option 2 will require an immediate trip to the alignment shop of course.

I used drive up ramps. After all my suspension was done I drove it to Steeda for alignment. They checked everything and said it was fine.

I used PA Racing to get my K-member from their site PAracing.com. They had great customer service and the K-member is top notch. Great clearance and HUGE weight savings. I heard about it from KillerCanary when he got his, so i did some research and found lots of other happy customers. Also stock A-arms fit with no modifications so that was another bonus.

I will probably end up getting them snug and driving it straight to the alignment shop. The alignment is so off i was going to do that anyway. Im now hoping for a wed first fire on the 347
