Those with tko's

GM syncromesh is NOT $35/qt. Where on earth did you hear that load of sh it?

Even here in expensive NY I paid $9 a quart for GM syncromesh at the local chevy dealership. You use GM syncromesh and you need to buy 3 quarts.

Check another dealer, also make sure it's the right Synchromesh you are getting...there are now two types (go by the part number in your tranny owner's manual). It should be between $7-$11 per quart.

:stupid: I paid 4 dollars a quart, but that's because we have an account with the local dealership. :nice:

Thanks for the info. I heard $35 and I walked out. Was a chevy dealer too. I remember 8 months ago getting it from the same dealer at $14. So I dont know what there doin.

Dan.

Just did a oil change in my Tremec 3550 3 days ago. Went to a Pontiac/Buick/GMC dealer and paid $10.25/qt. $35 is Bull. Tremec recommends syncromesh, and as far as i'm concerned, if you can afford an aftermarket Tremec, you can afford $30 in fluid every 30K miles :)
