came across this on turbomustangs and i know this topic comes up alot here so i thought i would post it here. cool idea, too bad you need to hack up a hood or use a big ass hood lol

Oh cool - that guy is in my car club. He welded my subframe connectors into place

He's been at that blower prokect for a few years now, kinda let it sit for a while and now he's back at it. He used to hang around here a little but I don't think he does so anymore.

I remember he was saying he was going to have it stick out of the hood, not sure if that's still the plan

There was a HUGE thread about this guys project in the Supercharger section of Stangnet here.

I remember seeing it a little over a year ago. You could probably bring back up the thread.. lightening blower ftw.

Seems pretty simple to me. The hard part is the adaptor plate for the S/C.

Looks pretty sweet and should make good power too. I bet you can find a ton of 03/04 cobra s/c's on ebay for cheap.

Right now he's working w/another great machinist in our area & club (the one who made the adapter plate above). Very cool stuff coming outta those guys' shops!

Get up with him and see if he can make a intercooler adapter for a Kenne Bell and a 5oh.

Better yet.... just make a whole new intercooled lower intake!

Not to steal your thread, I just thought I would share

I know a guy who just did a setup like that on his Mercury Marauder. Only using a 6-71 on his 4.6L. It's awesome!!!

That's the stickest Crown Vic i've ever seen (yeah i know it's a Marauder but who cars).
