View the dash kit for 05-08 Mustang here

I came across this and although I love the stock Mustang's interior, this could possibly look cool if you didn't do some radically ricey color like lime green

Its not permanent, doesn't cause any damage to your car, and has a 6 year warranty. From the photos on that site, it looks like it could turn out pretty nice. They have a ridiculous amount of colors to choose from as well.

Then again... Stock S197's look amazing already inside

So what do you think? Rice, or nice?

I think that kit is probably horrible quality for $30. There are nice kits out there that resemble the Roush kits as far as quality and they'll run around $200.

It's only 30 dollars and doesn't hurt your interior. You could always give it a try and if it's crap you aren't out that much money. If you do get it be sure to let us know how it went and post some pics.

It's not my cup of tea but if you like it go for it. Your car is for you no anybody else if we don't like how it looks we can go suck ourselves.

And if if you do get it and end up taking it out then oh well there are alot worse things you could've done with thirty bucks and I guarantee you when you're sitting on your deathbed thinking about your regrets you're not going to be saying damnit I wish I didn't waste those thirty bucks

My answer to the poll would be neither of those listed. The vinyl is little more than the quality of black electrical tape.
It is rice, big time.
Good dash kits cost a lot more and are thicker and made of better materials. In this case, you get what pay for.

please, please do not do that to her. The only one that could maybe maybe maybbeee not make your car look like a total scion is brushed aluminum but I do not see $30 vinyl replicating brushed aluminum very well.

I ordered one of those $30 kits vinyl kits on eBay, and it's been sitting in my closet for 2 months now. I will not put that on my car. It looked MUCH better in the pics than it did in person. I say don't waste your time or money. Most importantly: Don't get your hopes up about it, because you will be disappointed when the product arrives.

Unlike these others, I will allow you to get a kit, but only in Pink or Yellow. Now meditate on what you've learned, my son.

RICE!!! gross, and cheap. when i was installing at Circuit city cars would come in with that **** and it looked so bad.

Spend the money and buy the Roush kit about$400 but it looks nice and done right. Real carbon and isnt going to peel.
