So did i, and actually it's all about Cali because the USGS is centered here and Cali has the most researched geological land on the planet so there's a ton on info on it. Where as the rest of geologically active places won't even know if they are next to a fault line.

There are over 250,000 people evacuated and displaced by these fires. I have had family personally effected by them. Why would you even come on here to say that. I have seen your posts in the past and you seem to be an intelegent and generally nice guy. During times of struggle like this please keep your opinion to yourself.

actually this morning it was 310,000 and now the total is 514,000 w/ 12,000 advised to make their own decision based on air quality. This is crazy down here

I turned the news off yesterday morning. This is too similar to the fires 4 years ago... to the week even.

My family lost a lot in that round of fires and is still working to rebuild and get back to par.

at the moment im fine. Upper La Jolla isn't in immediate threat except for air quality right now. But my g-ma's house caught on fire and my sis's place is currently in the path of the Witch Creek one

well a friend of mine got evacuated he came down today with his car packed with everything he could bring
