I just installed a new throtle body and I would say its the cruise
control cable that hooks to it. Well I don't know how to extend the
cable to make it snap on and keeping my idle right. The idle is find
when i take it off but high when i put it back on. It gray with a cable hooked
to it and it snaps on. Any help would be good!

way with the new one. did i go wrong putting the
old one back on

Depends if it's leaking or not. If you want to check, it's pretty easy. While the engine's idling, spray a bit of throttle body cleaner around the gasket. If the RPM's go up, the gasket's leaking. It's not that hard to modify the new gasket, anyway. You can use the old one as a pattern, so you know how big to make the holes on the new gasket.
