Hey, guys
I am planning to have Accufab 75mm Throttle Body & Plenum + pro-m 80mm installed on my 00' GT.
I am wondering how much horse power i can gain with these parts.
So far, i have K&N cold air, Borla exhaust and steed pulleys.

with the plenum and tb you will see around 8 rwhp. dump the pro-m and get a t/a or a midpipe. the pro m will not give you very much power and you can get alot more power with a midpipe.

Hey, guys

I was told that bigger Throttle Body & Plenum combo works better with bigger MAS, but i guess i gotta start doing a research on a midpipe.
Does midpipe make the car loud???
Also if i wanna quieter midpipe, which company would you recommend?

Thanx!

go with the tb plenum combo, but keep the stock maf. an aftermarket midpipe will make your car alot louder, but is the biggest power adder in terms of bolt ons. I have a mac o/r xpipe, i love it, but my car is very loud. do a search and you will find plenty of info on midpipes.

go with the Accufab 75mm Throttle Body & Plenum.

KJ Hoppus is right, a new MAF meter on a basically stock 99+ GT is a waste. Just my honest opinion. Save the money for something else, like the mid-pipe or gears.

Changing the MAS is a waste unless you are S/C'd.

Yeah I saw a link to that a few months ago. It was a yellow stang they put it all on. By they way, they spent close to $900 on all those parts for their 22hp. It wasnt simply the tb/plenum/pro m combo. If anyone can find the article feel free to post a link again.

Yet, he got 9.3 hp with his K&N FIPK. This makes me wonder if the theory is true when one says "There's only so much air you can flow to the motor with the heads, cams, and displacement being stock despite what mods you do to the intake". I think that applies here.

Hey guy

I will go with Accufab throttle body & plenum combo.
Also, does anyone have Steeda timing adjuster or Hyper tech power programmer III?
Do they really do what they say in the advertisement?
Steeda's timing adjuster - up to 10 horse
Hyper tech - more horse power + better gas milage

IS it really true???

I would say 15 rwhp is likely, but it could be more because you've got other complimentary mods as well. Don't be like me...dyno it and let us know! As a test I ran my car with MAF, TB, and PLENUM. Felt good. After hearing some guys here say the MAF was crap, I took off the true flow tube and MAF, and put the stock MAF and inlet tube on. The difference was like night and day when I put those stock pieces on. The MAF will give you the throttle response that the stocker lacks. Some guys are partial to certain mods; I have never dynoed my car, but it hauls.

well, it depends on which plenum you are going to get? Accufab Plenum or C&L Plenum?

70 for accufab

75 for C&L
