I came across this throttle body/plenum made by bbk.

http://www.bbkperformance.com/products/96-04-mustang-46l-gt-78mm-throttle-intake.html

Does anyone have this installed on their car? If so how does it perform? It would be quite a bit cheaper to buy this part rather than having to buy a throttle body and a plenum separately. Any help would be great, thanks!

Way way way too big for a N/A car. Anything over 70mm is not beneficial - too much air is not always a good thing.

75mm wont gain much on a bolt on car, but it wont hurt to have one if you feel you may benefit from it in the future.

Big debate over 70mm vs. 75mm, but they are usually within 1-2 hp of eachother on a non-forced induction bolt on car.

why don't ppl look at the flow charts? Then people would see that on ANY plenum EXCEPT the Accufab and C&L you will LOSE power with anything larger than a 75.

Hmm..I don't ever buy BBK products, but to their defense, I have not seen a flow chart for this piece.. How do we know if it won't outflow even Accufab? There may be more to the design than the 78mm throttle body.
I wouldn't buy it until someone does a flow test on this piece.

It probaly does flow pretty good, I wouldnt doubt it.

Im just saying its overkill for a car that isnt seeing boost or a massive all motor build.

Bolt on 4.6's cant even utilize all of a 75mm TB.

I would be interested to see how it flows against the Accufab and C&L.
