So...I finally got just about everything back on the car and hopefully she won't leak anymore...had to change my lower intake gaskets.

I ended up running into a problem on my throttle body though. The spring came off and I'm not quite sure how it goes back on...The body I have is BBKs 70mm one.

I'm looking and it looks like it goes into a hole on the black part (the part where it screws into the upper intake)...and I'm guessing the other part of the spring goes on the top hook on the valve opener area?

any help greatly appreciated

Yes, that's pretty much how it goes. You can't hook it up wrong. Just make sure its there or the throttle plate won't return which means it could get stuck open. It happened to me and I broke a valve spring after my car bounced off the 6200 rpm rev limiter for a few seconds.

I have been out changing the lower intake gaskets myself. Tired of the oil leak. Someone installed the cork pieces on the china wall. Thats probably why its leaking.

Alrighty, got it on there....figured that was how it went but I just wanted to be sure.

Yeah...I definately don't like those cork pieces...RTV all the way, lol.

Welp, the good news...she fired up.

The bad news, showing low vacuum at idle....I think this has to do with the fact that I changed my dizzy to one of those MSD pieces...Have yet to set the timing and everything.

hopefully I didn't screw my seal up...and I'm pretty sure I don't have any hoses disconnected.

I guess I'll see later

Thanks for the info...great help as always,
clay
