I haven't driven my car in a few days only to find the gas pedal loose and only returning half way back to the top of its range of travel. Everything looks normal and everything moves freely. Anyone encounter this let me know how you resolved it. I'm trying to attach a few images with this iPad with out any luck

Based on the picture, you pulled the throttle pedal out. Can the cable be moved inside the loom?

Cable moves freely no changes were made just noticed the pedal wasn't coming back up.

You shouldn't have to. Have you checked the return spring on the throttle body? I'm obviously not out at my car at the moment, but I thought our pedals had a return spring on them as well?
