Bought a 01 the other day with manual trans and throttle seemes to be sticking. Will accerate ok but when let off to change gears the motor will not idle down stays at the last rpm for few seconds. Does not throw any codes. Could this be a faulty TPR sensor?

No it is normal to have the rpm up just a few seconds or so. It is the way the idle air control motor works. It is to hold the idle up just a few seconds then it drops to about 1000 rpm then to idle speed.
