Hi guys, I have the little stupid squeaky noise coming from the #$%@$#$**@# TOB. I need to grease it up a lit bit and I was wondering where exactly is this bad boy?

If Im not mistaken I have to work it out with lithium grease is this correct?

I just need to know either by a picture or by a very good explanation, how do I get to this foker.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

TIA!

Its on the shaft in the transmission bellhousing. If you go through the trouble to pull out the transmission you might as well just replace it. You arent supposed to lube them anyway, they are lubricated from the factory. You probably need a new one anyway if its making a noise.

The access cover is just to the rear of the bellhousing/block juncture, slightly toward the driver's side. It is held on by one 10mm screw. You should be looking right up at the TOB after you remove the cover. I used lithium and/or silicon sray. Worked for me, but not for others. But I really hosed it down, not wanting to do it again anytime soon. Good luck
