Throw Out Bearings 101

Why is it that when I search autozone or somewhere they never have any throw out bearings? Is it called a clutch release bearing? Can I use this for my t-5(4 cyl. trans.)?

Yes, but a lot of people have issues with the AutoZone/Advance Auto/common part store brands, myself included. Seems that often after they are installed you still get the knocking when the car is in neutral and the clutch released, which is indicative of a bad TOB.

Most recommend using genuine Ford OEM.
